Centerline Game 2-on-2 in motion

10-14
Grossfeld
15 Min

Description

2-on-2 game on a small field with two goals. The center line may only be crossed if you are actively moving with or without the ball — simply standing or static waiting is not allowed.
Depending on the desired level of difficulty, the game can also be played as 3-on-3 or 4-on-4. Field size and number of players influence the pace and intensity of the game.

Change:
Players change either at the coach's whistle or freely by appointment.

Supporting players (level 1):

  • Offensive: Find free pass lines in open spaces.
  • Defensive: Identify the most dangerous opponent and actively mark him.

Tactic (level 1):Offensive: All players actively participate in the attacking game.

Defensive: All players consistently participate in defensive behavior.

Coaching ACCENTS

Objective: Use free space consciously through movement, dribbling or targeted passing. <--> Anticipate the decisions of the opponent leading the ball and try to conquer the ball.

VARIATIONS

MAKE EASIER

  • More space: Larger playing field per team to create more room for decisions.
  • 2-on-1 situations for overpay training.
  • The center line may be crossed even without active movement.
  • Increase difficulty

  • Less space: A smaller playing field increases pressure and requires faster decisions.
  • The center line may only be crossed when in contact with the ball (e.g. ball must be dribbled or passed).
  • Opponents may only actively defend when moving — encourages more play without the ball.
