Description

Use the free space by moving the ball and taking targeted passes. The players are divided into two teams and the balls are thrown onto the playing field. The aim is to free your own half of the field from all balls by fitting them into the opponent's half — knee-high at the maximum. The center line serves as a border (for advanced users, for example, a bank can serve as an additional hurdle). At the end of the game, the balls are counted on their own side — the team with more balls loses. It gets even more exciting across the whole field, as depth also comes into play here — but it also works halfway.

Rules:

  • The ball may only be passed or shot at a maximum of knee height.
  • The game starts and ends with a whistle.
  • The opponent's playing field must not be entered.
  • Questions for reflection:

  • Is it always worth it to pass the ball hard?
  • When is it more useful to play a “quiet” ball?
  • How is our team positioned on the field — are there clear zones (front and back) or is everyone playing everywhere?
  • Coaching ACCENTS

An entertaining end to a competitive training session. Players use different tactics: Some shoot as many balls as possible, others calmly place them in hard-to-see places. This is how some practice playing while others train their fitness.

    VARIATIONS

    MAKE EASIER

  • Use fewer balls to make things easier to keep track of.
  • Allow the ball to be played higher than knee-high as well.
  • Only play halfway to shorten distances.
  • Increase difficulty

  • Increase the number of balls on the field
  • Play with obstacles on the center line (such as a bench).
  • Limit the number of ball contacts per player.
